The X-gateway acts as translator between an existing Modbus TCP network and a CANopen network. The primary focus is the fast transfer of cyclic I/O data between the networks. It provides full CANopen Master/Client functionality to the (downlink) CANopen network and acts as a Modbus TCP Slave on the control (uplink) network.
Allows the integration of CANopen slave devices with a Modbus RTU network; Provides a fast transfer of I/O data between networks, typically no more than 5 ms delay; Provides CANopen Master/Manager functionality eliminating the need for a CANopen PLC controller; Integrated 2-port Ethernet switch allows for daisy-chaining and can reduce infrastructure costs; Supplied with a CANopen configuration manager for network configuration; Includes Ethernet IT functions such as Email, FTP and a dynamic webserver
CANopen support for 128 Receive PDOs and 128 Transmit PDOs, each can transfer up to 8 bytes; CANopen Master (manager) functionality allows for connection of up to 126 CANopen slave devices; Up to 256 bytes Input and 256 bytes Output data or 32 RPDO's input and 32 TPDO's Output (CANopen); Modbus TCP baud rate of 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps; CANopen auto baud rate detection; 24VDC Power supply with typical 150 mA current consumption; Temp: -25 to +55 C; Size: 120 x 75 x 27 mm; CE, UL, ATEX certified
