Room Controller

Type:  Monitoring Hardware
Description:  An offshoot of Peak Demand's Building Automation System, the Room Controller can remotely and wirelessly monitor doors, occupancy, light levels, VOC (Volatile Organic Compound such as cleaning solutions, Windex, paint fumes and cheap particle board) as well as CO2 and can turn on the fan if desired.
Connectivity:  Modbus
Features:  External sensor ports with up to four sensors; CO2: turns on fans if the CO2 rises above a preset level and/or VOCs: if volatile gases are present; Occupancy sensor: turns off AC or heat if the space is unoccupied and/or Door/window sensor: if a door or window is open; Internal light sensor with dimmer circuit for day-lighting.
Specifications:  Built in wireless Modbus with 1000-ft indoor radio range for reading and configuration; Microphone for the detection of sound, built in as an alternative to the occupancy detector; Trimpot for calibration of dimmer level; Pushbutton so daylighting dimmer can be calibrated; USB port for computer configuration.
