Type:  Software - OPC
Description:  The NETx BMS Server is a software solution that is responsible for collecting and processing data points from different building automation technologies. It provides a Modbus interface to integrate Modbus data points (Coils, Discrete Inputs, Holding Registers, Input Registers) via Modbus TCP. Native Modbus RTU devices can be connected via UDP/IP or TCP/IP via simple IP-to-RS485 converters. Drivers for other protocols (e.g., KNX, BACnet, SNMP, MICROS Fidelio/Opera, Protel, VingCard) are supported for bidirectional data exchange with Modbus. Using the build-in web server, web-based visualizations can be provided. Data can also be accessed by any third-party client using open management interfaces, such as OPC, BACnet.
Connectivity:  Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP
Features:  Integrates data from multiple Modbus TCP devices and/or Modbus RTU devices via IP-to-RS485 converters; Interfaces for bidirectional exchange of data via open protocols and application-specific systems (e.g., KNX, BACnet, SNMP, MICROS Fidelio/Opera, Protel, VingCard); Trending and historical data storing; Time-based events with Server Calendar; Web-based visualization with standard web browser; Extendable functionality due to LUA-based script engine and graphical functional block programming; Supports OPC DA and BACnet for third-party applications; Smart metering module; Main/backup possible
Specifications:  Runs as Windows service on any Windows-based PC; Gateway functionality between Modbus and any other supported technology; NETx BMS Studio for configuration and maintenance; Web-based visualization included; SQL server for historical data; OPC and BACnet server for third-party clients
