Type:  Network Gateway
Description:  The DL4000-DMX has two configuration modes that allow Modbus devices to communicate with A-B's DF1 protocol (CH0s of PLCs, SLCs, Micrologixs, etc.) Modbus Client Mode configures the DL4000-DMX to act as a Client on the Modbus Network. Commands can be generated inside the PLC (DF1 Device) to access/change data inside Modbus Server devices using either Modbus ASCII or RTU protocol. Modbus Server Mode configures the DL4000-DMX to act as a Server on the Modbus Network. Commands can be generated inside a Modbus Client Device to access/change data inside the SLC (DF1 device).
