Anybus X-gateways are designed for use in Industrial Automation plants where increasingly many different Fieldbus and Ethernet networks are used. The X-gateways help System Integrators to easily interconnect Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus Plus, or Modbus-RTU to virtually any other network, enabling consistent information flow throughout the entire plant. The Ethernet interface consists of an embedded Modbus-TCP 10/100 Mbps interface with IT functionality such as Web-server, SSI-scripts, Flash file system, FTP-server, e-mail client, Telnet. It is possible to build web pages displaying and controlling a factory floor process with data from the other connected network. It is built on a dedicated 32-bit RISC micro processor (+60 mips) ensuring fast and secure Ethernet performance. The DeviceNet Master interface can act both as a Master/Scanner and/or Adapter/Slave. The entire DeviceNet protocol is implemented into the module. The module manages control of up to 63 DeviceNet slaves. Full DeviceNet configuration can be defined and loaded into the AnyBus-M module via the HMS configuration software NetTool-DN (purchased as a separate accessory) or via Rockwell?s RSNetWorx.
Bridging of I/O data between two different networks; Supports 150 different network combinations; Easy configuration via Windows Hyper Terminal; IT Functions such as web server, e-mmail client, SSI support, FTP and File access/security permissions on all Ethernet versions; OPC Server for all Anybus X-gateway Ethernet versions; DeviceNet Group 2 Client/Server/UCMM support; Manages up to 63 DeviceNet slaves; DeviceNet Configuration via AnyBus NetTool-DN or RSNetworx; DeviceNet Explicit peer-to-peer messaging, configuration consistency value; I/O Slave messaging: Bit strobe, Polling, Cyclic & Change of State (COS)
