The Modbus protocol driver supports both Master and Slave implementations. All Modbus serial ports are individually configurable, providing a powerful and flexible host or device interface solution. ADM functionality allows the module to accommodate devices with unique serial protocols. The module includes General Software Embedded DOS 6-XL. This provides DOS compatibility along with real-time multitasking functionality. DOS compatibility allows user applications to be developed using standard DOS tools, such as DigitalMars and Borland compilers.
